Classic Blackjack - Blackjack Players Guide
Classic Blackjack is a back to basics Blackjack game with no fancy rules or additional payouts or side bets. It uses just the one deck of playing cards and online players may be
aware that this deck is always shuffled before a new game begins.
The Dealer never peeks for Blackjack and he must always stand on all 17's or above.
In Classic Blackjack if you have been dealt either a nine, a ten or eleven then you can double down your bet should you wish.
In regards to splitting hands, Classic Blackjack permits you to split a hand just once which will result in you playing two hands, however if you split an Ace unlike most other blackjack
games you can be dealt multiple cards to each Ace.
If you have been dealt two alike ten valued cards then these may be split but in Classic Blackjack you cannot split unalike ten valued cards.
The only other rule you should be aware of is that if you have been dealt a ten valued card to a split Ace then this hand is a 21 and not a Blackjack.
